National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Launches Online Counseling Platform For Drug Addicts

According to techmoran, the agency has been taking steps to address the growing need for anti-drug abuse/trafficking sensitization with a total of 21,634 persons benefiting from NDLEA offline counseling service nationwide between 2010 and 2014.

The Chairman/Chief Executive of the NDLEA Ahmadu Giade in a statement made available online to techmoran said:

“Online counseling will complement existing offline counseling platforms across our formations nationwide. We introduced online counseling to provide our services to people, especially youths at the comfort of their homes.

Besides, it is easy to access, providing clients greater comfort and convenience. The confidentiality involved also makes whoever is seeking information to be open-minded and bond easily with counselors. Already,
